 Recently HEDS (Health & Eco Defence Society)
along with Prometheus and ‘Chetla Krishti Samsad’ organized a Summer
Workshop –– ‘Kichir Michir’ for
below 12 children near Rashbehari, Kolkata.
We are very lucky that we were born before the computer
era and had a childhood to remember. In addition to reading text book, we
got the opportunity to read 'child literature' also. For
us the summer holidays were not just to do homework, but we also enjoyed
‘Chuti Chuti’ in the Television.
After returning from School, we got the dust-clad childhood also along
with the tuition. Why the children of today deprived from what we
availed in the childhood? It cannot be their
crime to born in the twenty-first century.
To provide the children a memorable childhood, HEDS, Prometheus and
‘Chetla Krishti Samsad’’s combined attempt is ‘Kichir Michir’.
We will try to open another childhood door for them during Independence
day celebration week of 2017 with a plan to Start the session from
morning 10 am to evening 5 pm for 2 days. Besides, dance, music,
drawing, drama, arrangements for children talking freely with
psychologists will be there. Welcome to all below 12 years to experience
a touch of childhood something different but enjoyable to a different
extent.
